NICE TO MEET YOU!
Hi, I'm Sandra Lee

My story
Growing up in an international environment and having lived in a few different countries and cities has always been an important factor for the way I view traveling, interactions with cultures and respecting nature and its wildlife.
Nevertheless I was never really outdoorsy in a sense of loving to hike mountains and camping. But that has really changed over the past years. And since then I can’t get enough of it.
My first camera was given to me when I was 9 years old. I always loved taking pictures and capturing moments but wouldn’t have thought of myself as a person that would want to carry her camera everywhere she goes. But that is who I am now. My camera gives me the ability to learn about nature, cherish it and share my experiences with the world.

I take pictures with the intention to create return tickets to places life has take me.
Me, Yesterday

Why this blog?
I started this blog as a digital photo album. Now it also had been filled with articles about traveling, taking chances and being curious.
I also share my knowledge about photography and give advice when it come to assembling the gear that fits best for your needs.
I hope that the contents will challenge you to think out of the box and give you a new perspective on the world around us and the ways that we can interact with it.
There's never really a good or bad destination. It's what you make out of it.
Also me, every time I select my next travel destination
My personal world map
I spend about a third of my year traveling, at least I try to. I love exploring new countries. If I get the opportunity to even live in one of these places I am always happy to take advantage of it.
If not traveling I you can find me:
- Drawing mandalas
- Hiking in the mountains nearby
- Experimenting with camera settings
- Editing and organizing pictures

My lenses
Paired with my Sony Alpha 7iii camera
Wildlife and Landscapes
70-200mm f 4.0 GM
Since I focus mainly on Wildlife and Nature photography, this lense comes in handy most of the time since it allows me to really zoom in on the objects I am trying to capture and compress later.

Macrophotography
90mm f 2.8 Macro
This is my newest lense and it really helps me to get really close to the object. I am still getting into this type of photography but will be happy to share my insights soon!

Portraits and Street photography
50mm f 1.8
This is my compact lense for everyday use. I like to take this one to shoot portraits and capture the city life during my travels. With its low f number it also works very well in lowlight conditions.
